50 years.

I lived.

Reflecting back, my heart is very full of what life had gifted me, what it taught me. All the challenges are purposeful teachers, not problematic turbulences; there are more ups than downs, more gratitude than grievances. Along the way, I am thankful with all the support that my family and friends had given me.

In this series, there are more than 100 pieces of work done in 2022. There is a different sense of energy I am tapping into, pretty distant from what I featured in my first exhibition. This is the result of a lot of self-work and self-care I have done in the past 1 year (ironically, thanks to COVID-19); I will continue this journey and will always be a self-in-progress. There will be instances where art becomes my escape, but moving forward, my desire is to expand my range to also include a body of work that connects to my deeper, true essence.

In this series, I am also bringing back all the body of work from Chronicles IV, where I paid tribute to my journey in ontology. Also, with the recent crisis in Ukraine, I also have dedicated a section on my way to fortifying strength for the people who are under such distress.

Thank you for being part of my journey.

Enjoy this chapter, and many more to come.

Love, YT
