InterPose
InterPose presents a selection of digital artworks by first-year students on the BA Creative Producing (Theatre and Short Film) course at East 15 Acting School, University of Essex. The exhibition takes place within the context of the module Digital Art Skills and includes posters, photography, podcasts, video art, and sound art.
In response to the pandemic, East 15 student producers have experienced a major transition from classroom and studio teaching to learning, socialising and creating in digital spaces. InterPose exhibits a taster of the creative interventions students have undertaken in the lead-up to and during Term 3 lockdown. The BA Creative Producing at East 15 draws together areas of theatre and film practice (eg writing for performance, filmmaking, screenwriting, theatre directing, directing for camera, lighting and sound) with business-focused aspects of the creative industries (eg. digital marketing, touring, web-design, pitching, and events management). East 15 student producers are entrepreneurial creatives looking to create, produce, and champion innovative theatre, film and media practice.
