Allen says of her work," The brief life and death of a flower or an arrangement captures the perfection of our beginnings but also our messiness as humans, our chaos and contradictions, our light and shadow and the journey of ageing. There is beauty to be found and appreciated at every stage but most importantly, I seek to capture what the floral offers us; this sense of renewal and purity which is so very relevant as we move towards a future where we will begin the process of renewing our daily routines and relationships with appreciation and a refreshed perspective."
