INGO RASP

Series shown: The SALT Series; The BLUE LAKES Series; The GOLDEN RIVER VEINS Series

Ingo Rasp is an award winning architecture and aerial landscape photographer. With a special emphasis on interior spaces he is passionate about documenting architecture in Switzerland and beyond.

Through his background as a trained architect he sharpened his eye for the fine interplay of spatial structures, proportions and details which constitute a stage for the most imaginative scenes of our everyday lives. In 2022 he was chosen by Loop Design Awards as one of the 100 most inspiring architecture photographers.

Beside his commercial assignments he is also pursuing his own art projects. He focuses on the process of becoming and decaying - often using his work to highlight aspects of global climate change and the impact of humans on our environment. In his approach, he uses abstraction and aestheticization as a visual language. He reduces a specific scene to the essence to expose the essential characteristics of it.

His work was exhibited at the renown Biennale di Venezia as well as in group and solo shows in Switzerland and beyond. He received some of the most prestigious creative awards amongst the Red Dot Design Award and the International Photography Award.
