Mazzy MacGregor
Emerging artist, Mazzy MacGregor had his first ever solo exhibition at Resin, in Hermosa Beach, California. The show opened on July 15th and closed on the 26th. This is a virtual rendition of the show.
"Mazzy MacGregor is an emerging artist living and working in Los Angeles, CA. After receiving a BA in Art from USC’s Roski School of Art & Design, MacGregor worked to develop a cohesive series of paintings dealing with themes such as duality, vice, violence, desire, and impermanence, among others. Typically working on a large scale, MacGregor combines various mixed media techniques with a more traditional style of action painting to achieve a visual cacophony of sorts. MacGregor’s current works display a layering of imagery and emotion, giving the viewer something new to take away each time they look at the painting."
