Artist In Residence 2022 | Rhett Kilner
Scotch College Senior Art was fortunate to have Rhett Kilner working with the Senior Art department as our Artist in Residence this year. Rhett ran highly popular workshops with our students demonstrating how to screenprint a perfect T-Shirt, which the students then went ahead and made with their own designs, under Rhett's guidance.
As an artist Rhett completed his degree in Printmaking at the National Art school in Sydney, furthering his studies in the U.K. and Bologna.
Working within the fine arts, in an established printing company in London, he produced prints and editioning runs for a range of renowned clients.
Moving back to Australia in 2004 Rhett started his own clothing and textile company called Keystone Print Studio and has been working in the fashion and homewares industry ever since.
The displayed artworks are a collective of his versatility as an artist & printmaker over the last 15 years.
