Death was a fate suffered by everyone who lived and travelled along the Silk Road. What happened next, depended on individuals' religious beliefs.
Room One exhibition features Buddhist art from 500 to 1500CE. The 26 artifacts selected are from 19 temples/museums/libraries and caves located in 8 different countries.
Room Two will feature Christianity.
