Rober Kuzmicz pictures, presented at the History of the Universe exhibition at the Royal Blue Visual Arts Gallery, take the viewer to where time intertwines with space, and light becomes the rushing poet of the cosmos. In his works, the photographer shows his path to discovering the mystical dance of light and time, opens a window to the history of the Universe, and becomes our guide through the maze of cosmic secrets. This individual exhibition is part of the Grand Prix won in Open Call Royal Blue 2023 at the Royal Blue Visual Arts Gallery, where his 3 works were presented during the Finalist’s exhibition.

Through the photographic technique of light painting, the artist takes the viewer on a journey through space and time, capturing extraordinary moments of the universe’s pulsating energy. On this journey through cosmic nooks and crannies, light becomes the narrator of the universe, and colors become its mysterious language. Crossing the boundaries of perception, the photographer also captured light splitting, creating colorful visions, like frames cut from cosmic infinities. – Mag Nilsson

Photos created in the light painting technique are like paintings, except that instead of a canvas, a camera matrix is used. The painter uses paint, and I use colored light. I replaced the paint brushes with various light sources, allowing for a completely new approach to photography and its possibilities. (…) The subject matter of my works is wide, but I am most fascinated by symbolism, ambiguity and a philosophical approach to mythology, religion, fairy tales and even science. – Robert Kuzmicz
