On International Women’s Day, 8 March 2022, we are honoring the women in Lebanon leading the fight against climate change, one climate action at a time. This year's International Women’s Day comes as the world grapples with adverse effects caused by climate change. Across Lebanon’s communities, women climate leaders and activists have taken the lead to implement and advocate for climate actions to overcome these unprecedented circumstances.

We're bringing forward the faces of the Lebanese women climate activists in Lebanon who are at the forefront of driving climate action in Lebanon. From recycling, advocating, solarizing, researching, and pedaling the way for a sustainable future for Lebanon.
