That Transient Thing I saw This Morning

once in a lifetime
treasure each moment
soak in the sense
of wonder
of sight, smell, touch taste,
let it flow in.

once the leaf passes
once the ice melts
once light bends just so
it will never be that way again.

savour the moment
open all channels
shut down filters
eternalize the transient.
