Dimitri Pavlotsky: Venturing Out

This exhibition examines how the changes in the world influence the visual language of a painter. Chicago based painter and performer Dimitri Pavlotsky presents a collection of 28 paintings, mostly done in 2020 during the world pandemic. Several paintings completed in 2019 are also included to demonstrate the pre-pandemic style. The changes in style were not the result of a conscious intent, but the intuitive adjustment to the new energies in the world at large.
