IN THE WORK OF HARTI, IT’S THE PAINTING AND HIS COMMENTARY THAT SUGGESTS WE ARE SUFFOCATING IN THE NARROW CONFINES OF INCULCATED NARRATIVES IMPOSED BY RELIGION AND SOCIETY

A composer, musician, animator, director, neuro psychologist and ‘commentary pop artist’, Harti only began sharing his art at the age of 52. He was discovered so to speak coming out of Covid in 2020 by Lance Trevallyan, curator, and Chairman of CCA Galleries International in Jersey, the most prominent and successful modern art gallery in the Channel Islands.

Harti is returning to Scotland for his show with CCA Galleries at the Edinburgh Art Fair from 17-19th November. Having lived in Glasgow for 17 years with his Scottish wife and four children, this is a nostalgic return to the place where his children were born and where he crafted his career and built his successful and award-winning creative agency before he left in 2015.

Now, having had successful art shows at the Saatchi Gallery in London, Venice, Italy and Seoul, Korea, Harti is sharing his controversial works and questioning commentary at Edinburgh’s international art fair.
