Titchmarsh Ladies Country Calendar
Titchmarsh Ladies Country Calendar 2024 is finally launched
The much anticipated and talked about official launch of our calendar took place on Saturday 2 nd
September at the Village Shop with a licensed bar and BBQ . It was a very well attended event and a
great success. The many guests enjoyed burgers and hot dogs while sampling the two cocktail
choices - “Bottoms Up” & “Booby Trap” which were very well received. We managed to sell a large
number of calendars, all raising money for Cancer Research UK supporting Di Pinnock’s ongoing
battle with sino-nasal mucosal melanoma.
The background musical “soundtrack” featured songs, all with the emphasis on women. One of the
highlights of the event was the impromptu dance routine that the Titchmarsh Ladies performed to
the Shania Twain hit “Man I feel like a woman”.
Anna Griffiths from nearby Ringstead owns an old pink and blue Fordson tractor which is usually
used for Dementia UK events, but on this occasion appeared for our Cancer Research UK based
fundraiser launch, as well as being the main prop in Miss September’s photo.
Our initial target was £1,500, but as time has gone on, we increased that to £5,000. We are on
target for hitting the revised figure, but are hopeful of making even more.
There are so many people to thank, especially Pete “Moose” Jousiffe our official photographer, The
Village Shop and team for hosting the launch, Adrian Smart for the loan of his PA system, all of our
many sponsors and all the villagers and friends who came along and enjoyed a really fun event. Most
importantly of course, all the ladies for being so brave.
We are extremely proud of these calendars, which are very high quality. It features a selection of
exceptional photographs of 11 of Titchmarsh’s own fabulous ladies, set in backdrops in and around
our village.
The calendars are available from the Titchmarsh Village Shop at £15 each, with all of the money
raised going to charity. If you haven’t already please go and buy one.
