Taiwanese American Heritage Week Festival Competition
In celebration of Taiwanese American Heritage Week,
i-Matter has collaborated with the Taiwan Center and Miss Taiwanese American in hosting an art contest that depicts the theme "Why do Elders Matter to Us?" The art contest aims to normalize the discussion of mental health while promoting connection, education, awareness and empowerment. For many participants, it is an opportunity to express complex emotions through creative outlets. One of the goals of this arts contest is to normalize and promote that our mental health is just as important as our physical health.
