The_____Man
This exhibition was inspired by “Black Male: Representations of Masculinity in Contemporary American Art,” curated by Thelma Golden at New York's Whitney Museum of American Art in 1994. It is now just shy of 30 years with some of the same societal issues alive and well. However, a lot has changed as well. Who is a man? What is a man? Why is “The___Man” still battling constructs?
