Independence Program Art Gala

The Wounded Warrior Project Independence Program is honored to have hosted an Art Gala on July 20th 2022 at the Perez Museum. All Veterans have a story to tell, and many of them share this narrative through the act of art-making. Behind the uniform lies a threshold of skill, talent, and creativity.

Independence Program Art Expo featured warrior artists who participate in alternative therapies that promote creativity, cognitive and physical rehabilitation, and emotional outlets through the creation of art. Each featured artist has utilized Wounded Warrior Project’s Independence Program services to engage in art therapy.

This platform is to showcase one art piece from each artist who participated in this event.
