Galleria Piero Guccione apre al pubblico con la mostra virtuale «Piero Guccione - Gli anni a Roma», curata dall'Archivio, che documenta gli inizi del suo viaggio nel mondo della pittura.
Lungo il percorso virtuale sarà possibile ammirare un nucleo di trentacinque (35) opere realizzate da Piero Guccione tra il 1957 e il 1972, accompagnate da una selezione di tredici (13) documenti del tempo. Le prime emozioni vissute a Roma dall'artista sono riportate in un video iniziale e quattro (4) contribuiti audio.
Il tour virtuale prende ispirazione dalla mostra «Piero Guccione - Mistero in piena luce», allestita al Padiglione d’Arte Contemporanea (PAC) di Ferrara tra l’ottobre 2022 e il gennaio 2023, curata da Vasilij Gusella della Fondazione Ferrara Arte in collaborazione con Il Cigno GG Edizione, che ringraziamo. PIERO GUCCIONE IN ROME
Galleria Piero Guccione opens to the public by proposing part of the exhibition itinerary of the exhibition «Piero Guccione - Mystery in full light», set up at the Contemporary Art Pavilion in Ferrara between October 2022 and January 2023, curator of the exhibition, Vasilij Gusella of the Ferrara Arte Foundation .
The exhibition «Piero Guccione in Rome» documents the beginnings of his artistic production, when in 1954 he left Sicily to move to Rome. In the ferment of the Roman environment, he came into contact with neorealist painters, giving life to works characterised by an innovative cut and drawn from a common and intimate everyday life, well represented here by the series of painting such as «Balconies», «Internal- external», «Gardens», «Waiting to leave».
The exhibition presents a nucleus of thirty-five (35) historical art works from 1957 to 1972, accompanied by some of the artist's thoughts reported in audio format and by a selection of thirteen (13) historical documents that bear witness to his artistic career in Rome.
