Creativity Works: Podcasting
Creativity Works: Podcasting is a collaboration between Create Jobs, Stance Podcast, Somethin’ Else & Worldwide FM working with leading industry partners to provide 24 emerging podcasters aged 18-24 with the skills and professional development they need to break into the creative industries.
Over six weeks the group have taken part in workshops, interactive talks & masterclasses from global leaders in audio production and sound design to hone their production and storytelling skills. Alongside our leading partners Stance Podcast, Somethin’ Else & Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide FM, our cast list of contributors and workshop leaders includes: Acast, Audible, BBC, Spotify, Wondery, Creative Rebels, Capital Xtra and many more leaders in audio from around the world.*
Throughout the programme, participants have developed creative responses to their brief from Reebok Write Your Legacy – How Would You Like to Be Remembered in the form of short 5–20-minute podcasts which explore these themes through drama, spoken word, documentary style and panel discussion programmes.
Creativity Works is Mayor's Fund for London programme supported by the Berkeley Foundation and Citi Foundation and delivered by Create Jobs at A New Direction. For the duration of September to December 2020, the Mayor’s Digital Talent Programme, funded through LEAP, and Stride will also be supporting the programme.
