When speaking of a unique and original Artist who deserves to be on your radar you would want to remember the name Leland Sharp. This New York native is adding immeasurably to the artistic dialogue with his unique visual arts portraits and paintings. His iridescent hyperrealism abstract portraits are simple, yet visually appealing installations. They blanket the emotions of his works with a 3D sparkling vitality of color and are always eye-catchey.

Leland was very fortunate to be mentored by many greats, such as Jazz vibraphonist Roy Ayers, Big Band Leader Illinois Jacquet, and his legendary godfather, vocalist Brook Benton. Often referred to as "The Renaissance Man, Leland has enriched the world over time through various forms of writing, music production, photography, hair styling, interior decorating, and over 30 years of promotions in special event coordination.

When asked about life so far, he simply said "I love to create, and I love everything I see and feel about creation." In an interview in New York at his exhibit in his hometown of Queens, Leland was stated as saying," I don't sell art, I sell emotion”.
