Crypto is(n't) Eco

Crypto is Eco is the premise of this exhibition and one side of the coin, the other being, Crypto isn’t Eco, which is a crucial factor and a play on words to bridge the gap for this exhibition by means of a contradictory statement. This edition of 'Crypto is(n’t) Eco' will feature artist Andrea Plaza Carrasco better known as Anplac who is showcasing her Bitcoin series offering insight into the cryptocurrency revolution in our current times and the crypto-art-ecology combination through an exploration of both sides of the coin; which we will refer to as the [block--chain], this is a prelude to our Google Arts & Culture exhibition coming up soon where we will dive deeper and contextualize this virtual exhibit through an auditory interview with both Andrea Plaza Carrasco and Keyko Dojo sensei Dimitri de Jonghe, for viewers to understand the implications of using frameworks such as PoW, revealing hidden truths about the blockchain and it's connection to society, the economy and the environment.
