BLURRED MOVEMENTS - 3D virtual exhibition by HONGLEE CURATOR
BLURRED MOVEMENTS
Fabian Sommer’s first inspiration was an encounter with a photo of Michael Wessely.
He liked the possibility to show more in a photo than a single moment or a long-term exposure with some blurred lights in the night. Now, to catch several moments in a single photo and also to break the straight lines of the object is the main claim of his work. The artist tries to create a transition from a real object into a surreal atmosphere which can be also understood as an homage to transience. The blurred looks of his photography will catch the viewer to take a closer to see and understand the whole image.
