Maria Christina Conlon is the Davenport Perth Community Minister for the Shining Waters Region of the United Church of Canada in Toronto. She left the Philippines in 1972, received her BA degree at University of Windsor and her M.Div at the Toronto School of Theology.
Tina, or macconlon, went to The Art Centre at CTS in 2005-2006 and again in 2011-2013. In 2013, she sought to find expression in figurative sculpture, learning from Florian Jacot at TSA. Her print work includes lithograph, linoblock, intaglio and serigraphs. She also works with clay, casts in bronze, ciment fondue and resin, ceramics, 3-D design and painting. In her practice, she recognizes the need for discerning the unseen in the ephemeral.
