This project investigates the liminal boundary between internal perception and external environment through a somatic and linguistic lens.
Drawing from the etymology of inside (“the inner side or part of the body”) and outside (“beyond an enclosure or barrier”), the work examines how these words encode instincts of protection, exposure, and survival and how we can translate these biological processes into photographic practice.
