This is an exhibition of ceramic vessels, masks and totems. The majority of work was created in the past two years. These objects have been fired using alternative firing techniques such as Raku and Obvara. Many of the objects were carved and modeled in clay. All of the pottery vessels were created on the potter's wheel. The title "Indigenous Dreams" refers to the origins of technique and the discovery of fire. When earth and fire unite they create wonderful possibilities...enjoy the exhibition
The dimensions presented represent the size of the photographs not the actual dimensions of the three dimensional art work. The totem pieces range from 4'-7' tall. The raku and obvara pottery serves as decorative work only. Please contact me with any questions or interest in purchasing work.
