The Greek Master Charalambos Koronaios. A retrospective.
Famous Greek painter from 1920 to 2006. A rare chance to show examples of the inherited collection of this Grrek painter. Exponent of the Naive style the painter won numerous awards for his simple yet evocative work of the people of Athens during a difficult era. These works are then counter balanced by his nature paintings which gave relief from the struggles and hardships in the Cities of Greece.

About the artist: Charalambos Koronaios (1916-2006), originally from Kythira. He was a self-taught painter, whose main subjects were landscapes and the human figure, expressed in anexpressive naive theory of painting. His works are in the Museum of Modern Art in Barcelona, the Galleries of the Ministry of Education and Culture, Kalamata, Nice, the Cotton Organization, the Parnassos Literary Association and in private collections in Greece and abroad.
