ARMAN ASATRYAN

Born in 1976 in the town of Kapan, Syunik region, Republic of Armenia.
Studied individually in the artists' workshops of Kapan.
After serving in the army, in 1996 he worked in Kapan Culture Center as an artist-designer.
He worked as a butaphorist at the State Drama Theater after A. Shirvanzadeh in Kapan, and then until 2021 he was the chief production designer of the theater. He staged and designed more than 25 plays.
He taught at Kapan Art School and State Art College.
1999 - 2024 participated in a number of exhibitions including:
- Young Artists 2017,
- Kapan Young Sculptors Symposium in 2020,
- Participated in Land - Art projects,
- Kapan Artists Exhibition in 2021,
- Group exhibition at Art Space Gallery in Yerevan in 2023,
- International exhibition World Art Dubai in 2024.
Arman Asatryan is the author of a number of sculptures, cross-stones and design works.
The artist works mainly in classical and impressionistic style.
He is married. His wife Elena Mkrtchyan is also an artist and designer.
