INTERPRETATIONS 100, Gallery 2
The New Orleans Drawing Group was founded post 2005 hurricane ravaged New Orleans, by Master Pastel Artist Sandra Burshell, as a life drawing opportunity for local artists. Housed in a 2nd floor room above a local coffee shop, Sandra continued to host live, clothed model sessions every week until March 2020.
Not wanting to lose this community through uncertain times, NODG quickly turned to Zoom to maintain continuity. Through weekly Zoom sessions, NODG has flourished into an expanding international creative community.
NODG now provides monthly Guest Artist Q & A session and Open Discussions sessions addressing a multitude of artist topics. These 1 hour events are held after the drawing session, and further support and expand our creative bonding.
