A lost history project; capturing and reviewing the ongoing deterioration and protection of Jacobean Doocots.

Based on a survey undertaken by Mr Whitaker on behalf of the East Lothian Antiquarian Society in 1937 which reviewed the state of Jacobean Doocots in East Lothian.

Leonard is a visually impaired, and mobility-impaired disabled artist who is working within the subjects of equal accessibility for all and the changing face of history due to the ongoing development of the greenbelt spaces.

"As part of this lost history project, I endeavoured to undertake the survey and revisit and photograph the current state of each of the doocots. The project also resulted in a review of the current access rights to the landscape by the public."
