SikoraArts proudly presents "Post-Hiatus", its first virtual exhibition in over two years by the Cortland abstract artist, Robert Sikora (1993-). The exhibition is comprised of 11 paintings and works on paper from 2015 to 2019 and is on view October 31 – December 31, 2025.

Sikora's paintings express the inner workings of a mathematical mind given his background in engineering.

His works explore the organization of lines, shapes and colors. All of his life’s experiences come from the world of science to the world of art, making a full circle in his work, from schematic design to Gregorian chant, from architecture to atonality, from street maps to sculpture. But above all, he is heavily influenced by the great works of the abstract artists, such as Wassily Kandinsky, Robert Motherwell and El Lissitzky to name a few.

Sikora has made several appearances in the annual "On My Own Time" exhibits at the Everson Museum of Art in Syracuse, NY and was represented in the 2025 Regional Art Exhibit at the Roberson Museum in Binghamton, NY and is currently on view at the "Contemporary Mapping" Exhibit at the Corners Gallery in Ithaca, NY. His artwork has been requested by numerous art collectors and businesses throughout Central New York; He has also been featured in the Sun Bulletin in Binghamton, the Cortland Standard, as well as a television appearance on WSYR Bridge Street for a live demonstration of his work.
