Sculptor and painter Tyrone Espinosa’s solo exhibition “Philosophy of Seeing” lies within the philosophical epoch that orients the literal and non-literal eye or “I” towards or away from the self and object or others.

Through ornate, meticulously carved
sculptures shaped like eyes with elegantly inlaid wood embedded with different patterns and symbols, Espinosa straddles the line between ambivalence and certainty, consciousness and
perception–after all, the eyes are the window to the soul.

Tyrone Espinosa is a multi-awarded sculptor and painter. He known for the Surreal Expressionism is his art style. He was born in 1991 and he finished a BS Architecture degree at the Iloilo Science and Technology University.
